AI related acquhires of seed stage startups lead the way...

Few insights from these transactions:

• In summary, this is another round of enterprise software companies (public and private) acquiring small startups with fewer than 25 employees. It appears at least 2 were acquhire type deals.

• InTapp announced the planned acquisition of Term Sheet on April 11th. Interesting that such a small deal was announced before the actual closing. Will follow the 10Q/K to see if the price is announced after the fact.

• A great summary on the Outerbase deal by Emily Noval at Host Dean. Almost certain this was an acquhire.

• Honeycomb explained the acquisition of Grit on a blog post, also suggesting an acquhire. It has previously raised $7m from several investors, including Founders Fund.
